backRayford Griffin’s “Reflections of Brownie” - a new tribute to Clifford Brown
Composer and producer Rayford Griffin pays tribute to his uncle and legendary trumpet player Clifford Brown.
The concept is to have several different guest trumpet players and musicians to perform on the contemporary arrangements of Clifford’s music, celebrating his inspiring influence with their own individual styles and interpretation.
Rayford’s goal is to finish the recordings he has started of a new CD containing his arrangements for songs that were written and originally performed by his uncle, Clifford Brown. Read more
