Jason McGerr visits the Paiste Factory
Although being a Paiste Artist for more than eight years, Jason McGerr has never had time in his busy schedule to visit the Paiste Factory…until now. His current tour with Death Cab For Cutie brought him to Zurich and Jason took full advantage of the opportunity to travel to Nottwil and witness first hand how his cymbals are made.
During the factory tour he was truly impressed with the attention to detail at each department but it was the precision of the lathing department that impressed him the most. Jason “talked shop” with the Sound Development department and spent an extended amount of time at our showroom, also known as the “candy store for drummers”.
After reviewing a wide variety of cymbals, Formula 602 was his predominant choice. Jason departed with 3 new beauties in his cymbal bag which were used at Death Cab’s show later that night. CERTAINLY his new Formula 602s were the hit of the show! Thanks a lot for stopping by, Jason!
