Virtuoso musician Rayford Griffin is embarking on a tour of South America with Jean Luc Ponty’s project, The Atlantic Years. This band includes another JLP alumni bandmate; Baron Browne on Bass. Make no mistake, when Rayford and Baron share the bandstand, the results always include deep grooves and elegant musical invention.

Rayford has recorded more records with JLP than any other single drummer, and was catapulted onto the scene during his early tenure there in 80’s. Let’s hope the The Atlantic Years project reaches a few other continents in 2012.
