The Musicians Foundation and Paiste Cymbals have announced the award of the Fall 2012 Paiste Cymbals Scholarship to Chicago, Illinois native Justin Frazier.

Describing his reasons for wanting to attend MI, Justin said “I hope to grasp the skill and control of playing with diverse genres, as well as picking up reading music again. I’m coming in with an open mind to learn everything that I don’t know and also to master the things I already knew.”

Everyone at MI congratulates Justin on winning this prestigious scholarship award, and we welcome him as he begins his studies and enjoys the many great experiences ahead at MI!
