Logan Ellis Sheppard is an L.A. based drummer, percussionist, and vocalist who has been performing professionally since the age of twelve. Logan has worked with artists such as guitar legend Bruce Kulick (KISS), Patrick Stone (Adlerís Appetite) and James Durbin (Quiet Riot), and has shared the stage with major acts like Phantogram, Missing Persons and Agent Orange. In 2017, Logan recorded with iconic producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down, Smashing Pumpkins), and gained significant touring and live music production experience on the west and east coasts of the United States. He has studied with drum greats Bernard Purdie, Thomas Lang, Dave Weckl, Glen Sobel, Fred Dinkins, Sam Aliano, Matt Starr, Jeremy Colson and Brian Tichy. It was during an early lesson with Tichy that Logan fell in love with the Paiste sound, specifically Brianís 24Ē 2002 ride. Loganís passion for Paiste was born. Though well versed in a wide variety of playing styles, his adoration of jazz fusion and progressive rock styles drives him to rise to the level of drummingís most elite players, while developing a sound that is uniquely his own. And though he doesnít play a pitched instrument, Logan possesses perfect pitch; an ability that allows unique support of and communication with singers, band members and producers. In addition to his musical pursuits, Logan is also a peer mentor, a FREE2LUV anti-bullying advocate, and a vocal advocate for children and young adults on the autism spectrum.
