Biography


Nick Liberatore has been playing Paiste cymbals for over 20 years. He has been playing for the last three in the house band for The Goddamn Comedy Jam, performing monthly at The Roxy Theater on Sunset Strip. The show was soon picked up and Nick can be seen playing on Comedy Central. Nick has also been touring with the GDCJ, playing festivals such as Just For Laughs in Montreal, Bonnaroo, Bumbershoot, Outsidelands, The New York Comedy Festival, and several others. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2004 he has played live and done numerous sessions with bands such as Cindergarden, Annie Hardy & The Psychos, Dignitary and Benji's Revenge. His own two-man group Elemenopy has released two albums. They were house band at Unknown Theater in Hollywood for three years and are now part of a bi-monthly music and comedy show called Get Riffed. Elemenopy also maintains a monthly gig at The Park Bar & Grill in Burbank. In 2009 Nick was hand-picked by Billy Corgan to audition to replace Jimmy Chamberlin in The Smashing Pumpkins. In 2012 he recorded a Beastie Boys tribute album with Tony Brock. Nick has made loyal use of his Paiste setup for all of these projects and is proud to use Paiste products for any musical outlet.
