Stu Roberts is the drummer on the 2016 Rocky Horror Show UK tour featuring Paul Cattermole (S Club 7), Diana Vickers and Ben Freeman. Other recent theatre chairs include the UK tour of Jersey Boys (2014 to 2015) and before that Monty Pythonís Spamalot in London (2012 to 2014). Spamalot featured Stephen Tompkinson, Joe Pasquale, Les Dennis, Warwick Davies, Jon Culshaw, Marcus Bridgstock, Bonnie Langford and Dick & Dom. Spamalot celebrity guests included Brian May, Michael Palin, Christopher Biggins, Larry Lamb, Barbara Windsor, Michael Ball, Hugh Bonneville and Brian Cox. Stu has also performed with Claire Sweeney, Liz McClarnon (Atomic Kitten) and Gary Wilmot.

Stu recently played drums on Love Beyond at Wembley Arena. Additional theatre work as a dep in the West End includes, Ghost (Piccadilly), Joseph (New London), Jersey Boys (Piccadilly) and Pajama Game (Shaftesbury). Also the UK tours of Dirty Dancing, Legally Blonde and Spamalot. Stu toured Britainís Got Bhangra in 2010 and 2011.

Stu has played live with or recorded for Dame Evelyn Glennie, Bryan Adams, The Dhol Foundation, Talvin Singh, Eric Idle and Michael Palin (Monty Python), Peter Appleyard (5x Grammy award winner), Carl Vanderhyen (Supertramp) and also with Alex McEwan supporting Katie Melua on her Piece by Piece UK and Ireland Tour (2005). Festival main stage appearances include Glastonbury, Womad Singapore, Womad Australia, Celtic Connections, Electric Picnic, OAMF Trutnov, Commonwealth Games Melbourne, Perc Pan Brazil.

TV and radio broadcasts include Children in Need, Keith Lemonís Liviní the Vida Loca, This Morning, Annie Nightingale Show (Radio 1), Radio Scotland and Radio 2 (Elaine Page). As a member of the Dhol Foundation Stu appeared on both the Drums and Roses and Drumstruck albums.

Stu has given drum master classes at Seoul Jazz Academy in Korea and Tokyo School of Music in Japan as well as being a Senior Tutor at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) and a tutor at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM). Other teaching credits include the Royal Military School of Music. Stu was recently added to Modern Drummer Magazineís recommended list of drum tutors worldwide.
