Joe Godino (US)
#The Menzingers

Paiste Artist Since Sep 2016

Joe Godino is the drummer for the Philly punk band The Menzingers whose last album After The Party has been heralded as of the standout releases of 2017. The group has embarked on several sold-out headlining runs in support of their fifth full-length, including a recent appearance on Last Call With Carson Daly where they performed their singles "Lookers" and "I Don't Want To Be An Asshole Anymore."

Live and in the studio Godino uses the Paiste 2002 and Signature Series cymbals. "The tone, sustain and durability are what really drew me to Paiste cymbals, specifically the 2002 and Signature models," he explains when asked what separates Paiste from other companies. "Not to mention the 24" Reverend Al Big Ride which is by far the best cymbal I have ever played! Panama! [in Van Halen voice.]

If you want to hear Godino's drumming and Alex Van Halen impression in person, chances are the Menzingers are coming to your town soon. - Jonah Bayer
