Biography

Simon Hargreaves is a respected freelance drummer, whose versatility and energy have led him to work in many genres and formats for the past 15 years. With both parents teaching music for a living and playing in their local church, Simon was surrounded by music from childhood. His first opportunity to play drums live was given him at church aged 10. With much practice he was soon playing in school bands, and by the time he left secondary school he was both teaching drums and earning an income from wedding gigs. His most recent work has been with Jonas Myrin and as a member of The Tunics. He has also worked with Dave Reidy (Hillsong Australia), Darren Poole (Parachute band, NZ), and many others. He continues to reside in Berlin where he writes and records with numerous artists.
