Biography

Jonathan Schang is one of Paiste’s most promising new Artists. Jonathan studied at Berklee College of Music and Roosevelt University, his approach to composition and performance is rapidly garnering him new acclaim in today’s generation of progressive rock and beyond.

Top Paiste Artist Paul Wertico recommended Jonathan (one of Paul’s former students), and the rest is history. His role as Composer, Band Leader and Drummer in the Progressive Rock Band “DISTRICT 97” has caught the attention of such notable Paiste veterans as CARL PALMER and BILL BRUFORD.
