Biography

In a small town in Maine youʼve never heard of, a 5 year-old Jeff Muzerolle saw Buddy Rich on television. The next day he threw together a drumkit made of old pots and pans, buckets, and a wooden chair. He received a toy drum kit for Christmas. The rest is history, and here it is in a nutshell:

Jeff played his first professional gig at age 12 with a classic rock bar band. The stage was protected by chicken wire. The next year he did his first recording session: a fulllength record with a punk trio, recorded entirely in his basement. After spending his teens gigging all over the northeast with rock and country bands, Jeff won a scholarship to Berklee College of Music.

While there he studied with Kenwood Dennard, Larry Finn, Dave Dicenso, and many others. Jeff graduated in 1999 Summa Cum Laude and went on to become one of Bostonʼs most in-demand drummers. He has performed on tours worldwide and has done recordings for Universal Music Group, Sony Music, countless independent labels and major motion picture soundtracks.

A small sampling of musicians Jeff has worked with: Serj Tankian, Taylor Dane, Eddie Kirkland, Ron Carter, Kate Taylor, Al Cooper, David Minehan, and many others. Jeff now resides in Los Angeles where he works as a session/live drummer, film composer, and audio producer/engineer.
