Biography

Todd “Vinny” Vinciguerra is a freelance drummer, author and teacher. He is the author of “Beginning Independence for Rock and Alternative Drumming”, “Studies in Drum Set Independence Vol. 1 & Vol. 2”, published by Mel Bay Publications. Todd has been a contributing writer for Modern Drummer, Drum! Magazine, Rhythm (U.K.) and Cyberdrum.

Todd has been drumming since the age of 5 and performed in many casual and original band projects, musical theater, and has toured with Big Brother & The Holding Company (Janis Joplin¹s former band).
