Bill Lanham is a freelance New York based drummer and percussionist who performs in a variety of musical situations throughout the country. Some of his accomplishments are listed below.

RECORDING ARTISTS: Some of the artists Bill has played or currently plays with include Lesley Gore, Melba Moore, Deborah Gibson, Ricky Martin, Eartha Kitt , and Fantasia.

LARRY STEVENS BAND: As member of the Larry Stevens Band he has opened for Peter Frampton, Zebra, Jessica Andrews, and Tim McGraw.

CLINICS: Bill has conducted clinics at West Connecticut State University , Towson State University, Howard University, and the Suffolk County Music Educators Day of Percussion.

BROADWAY: Bill held the drum chair at “Les Miserables” from 1991- 2003 and has freelanced at “Wicked”, “Mama Mia”, “Rent”, “Spamalot”, “The Color Purple” and “A Chorus Line”. Bill currently holds the drum/percussion chair at the broadway revival of “South Pacific”.

FILM: Bill can be seen performing in the Universal Pictures film “American Gangster” starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.
